Otherside Brewing Co and Crafted Events have been recognized with a global trophy for Best Live Entertainment Stage or Setting at the Craft Beer Marketing Awards. The award celebrates Liberty Alive – the live music and laneway festival hosted late 2022 in Perth’s once abandoned Liberty Theatre – as the best beer-led live music experience from a selection of global entries.
The Craft Beer Marketing Awards, or the Crushies, are considered the preeminent branding and advertising awards in the brewing industry, with awards divided into a number of categories across six regions: The Americas, UK, Europe, APAC, MENA, and Global.
More than 600 judges from major craft beer markets take part in evaluating submissions, with this year’s winners announced at an awards event held in Nashville, Tennessee on 8 May, 2023.
Liberty Alive was brought to life with the support of the Department of Local Government, Sport & Cultural Industries, and saw thousands descend on a lost laneway and revived theatre for four weeks of live music, street art, food stalls, DJs, and craft beer.
