Grapefruit & citrus anthem

The Grapefruit & Citrus Anthem is a freshly tweaked Anthem recipe with a solid hit of grapefruit and orange. the citrus evokes the resin, pine and melon from the hops, adding a bittersweet riposte.
10.3% ABV • 80 IBU
Because if something is worth doing, it’s worth overdoing. This beer is big, bitter, malty and boozy, with just enough dry hop to balance it out.
hibiscus, rosewater & white pepper sour
4.6% ABV • 4 IBU
This pink boi is brewed with rosewater, hibiscus and white pepper, providing a sweet balance against the acidity. Lightly dry-hopped with Cashmere.
11.3% ABV • 55 IBU
Our barley wine pours a deep red from a generous dose of English crystal malt. A mix of early kettle American hops balance the sweetness from the high ABV. The yeast strain throws off interesting esters and ferment characteristics from the high gravity wort.
Hazy Mango IPA – Tycoon Brew #2
6.0% ABV • 70 IBU
Fermented with 300 kilograms of QLD Kensington Pride mangoes, this hazy IPA has an upfront nose of mango, vanilla and tropical fruit, with a thick lactose mouthfeel. The hops provide a crisp, bitter structure to prevent the fruit from overwhelming the palate with sweetness. This beer is a bitter and dry IPA in a hazy, modern outfit.
Extra Black Ale (XBA)
5.2% ABV • 40 IBU
Brewed to blend with your favourite XPA, our XBA is bursting with tropical fruit aromas with splashes of coconut from a new hop variety, Sabro. Low roast character with gentle chocolate and coffee flavours from the malt.
Extra Pale Ale (XPA)

Otherside XPA might be pale but it packs some punch. A rich, juicy little number with strong tropical characters. A neutral US yeast strain and double dry-hop throw off heaps of pineapple and peach aromas up front, while the malt finishes dry and crisp.
Hazy Pasito Sour
6.0% ABV • 4 IBU
Made with over 120 kilograms of passionfruit, this beer has lots of acidity from the kettle souring and a little extra acidity from the fruit. Dry hopped with NZ Rakau.

Based on the Pickleback shot (a shot of bourbon chased with a shot of pickle juice), this is a kettle soured, straw coloured beer, fermented on bourbon oak. It has additions of cucumber, black peppercorn, mustard seed, dill and garlic - plus a little white vinegar. Invigorating and sharp.
DDH SUPER DRY IPA
7.5% ALC/VOL • 25 IBU
Fermented with a low carb enzyme for dryness, featuring new world hops from both hemispheres. Medium bitterness to balance the low malt sweetness.
RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT
9.2% ALC/VOL • 70 IBU
A big, roasted dark beer, aged in a blend of Woodford Reserve bourbon and rye, and Heaven Hill bourbon casks.
7.5% ALC/VOL • 65 IBU
A big new take on an Otherside favourite, the Imperial Harvest has more hops, more malt and more booze. It has big bitterness and tropical hop aromas with a subtle sweet malt backbone.
BANANA SHAKE IPA
6.4% ALC/VOL • 23 IBU
Banana esters are present from the hefeweizen yeast, as well as tropical fruit character from the hops. There’s added vanilla and lactose to give this IPA that big milkshake energy. It’s a blatant attempt to mimic the styles trending on Instagram, but hey, ya know...
BELGIAN GOLDEN ALE
8% ALC/VOL • 25 IBU
The Golden Ale is a bright, dry, full flavoured Abbey inspired Belgian Golden Ale. It is effervescent with subtle fruity-spicy flavours, low hop bitterness, big yeast flavour.
6.2% ALC/VOL • 60 IBU
The double dry hopped anthem (DDH) is our regular IPA with the volume turned up. That means a bigger, more aromatic experience from this one. It’s bursting with watermelon, citrus and all that tropical fruity stuff.
8.2% ALC/VOL • 35 IBU
The Scotch Ale is our first barrel aged beer, a true experiment for our ‘Experimental Series"‘!
Biscuit, dried fruit, slight chocolate, malty. Minimal bitterness, lots of warming flavours from the bourbon barrel character. A bit of toffee and sweet notes balance the heat from the alcohol and the bourbon.
RED CREAMING SOUR
4.7% Alc/Vol • 4 IBU
The Red Creaming Sour is the latest addition to our ‘Experimental Series’ range
Tart and sour, with a flavour profile modelled off red creaming soda. It has a blend of vanilla, raspberry and rosewater,
layered over a kettle sour red ale base and is slightly dry hopped with Mosaic.
It’s our first commercially released sour and as with all our experimentals is very limited edition, so get it while you can!
AMERICAN STRONG ALE
7.2% ALC/VOL • 74 IBU
Lots of hops and a sweet malt underbelly. Citrus and dank resin from the hops, biscuit from locally-sourced base malt, stewed fruit and roasted notes from specialty malts. Clean ferment, hefty residual gravity.

Something we’re celebrating with an exciting collaboration called RED BEER’D. It’s a specially brewed edition of Harvest Red Ale, targeted to beard growers and pogonophiles all around the country. It is artfully crafted to whet whiskers and save lives.
Hold on… save lives!!?? Weren’t we just talking about beer? Of course we were. You see what makes RED BEER’D unique - apart from its majestic packaging and exceptional, irresistible taste - is that proceeds from each can will help Beard Season in their fight melanoma - Australia’s ‘national cancer’. Orange Is The New England Black IPA

Kohatu, Riwaka, Centennial
Oats, flaked wheat, blood orange
Brewed in cahoots with Rogue Wave Brewing in Victoria for GABS 2017, this blood-orange-infused black IPA has been given the juicy New England treatment.
Dripping with fruity New World character from absurd amounts of Kohatu, Riwaka, and friends, this double dry-hopped little fella is like drinking breakfast juice with the lights off. Loads of roast wheat and rolled oats make for a rich, full mouthfeel. The beer finishes with a crisp tickle of citrus goodness from the blood orange added in the whirlpool.
fremantle folk festival 2017
FFF Amber Ale
Brewed for an afternoon on the lawn, listening to some chilled folk with some chilled Freo folk.
It’s an old school amber ale, made to be sessionable. It has Australian Galaxy Hops, giving it a fruity passionfruit finish, and a full flavoured caramel body.

GRAPEFRUIT GRISETTE SAISON
LORAL, RIWAKA, VIC SECRET
A saison ale. The beer is a grisette, but done in a modern craft-forward style (lots of hops and citrus). Straw blonde colour, sweet tropical fruit aroma and a big hit of grapefruit, finishing dry with some farmhouse yeast character. Slightly hazy, a hint of saltiness that’s just on the edges of perception.
